Livy Long is a professional lettering artist and illustrator working and exploring in the PNW. With a decade of experience in letter-focused design work, she brings a fresh illustrative approach to fun-forward lettering solutions for a variety of formats.

Livy’s work is inspired by a dual appreciation of illustration and graphic design. With a strong analytical side, her artwork is as much about clarity and order as it is about plays on color, movement, and pattern.

Originally from New Oxford, Pennsylvania, Livy grew up with four older brothers, a few pets, and a pencil in hand. She attended Ringling College of Art and Design majoring in Illustration, thereafter accepting a design position with Hallmark Cards, Inc. Livy is currently a Senior in the Visual Studios at Hallmark where she creates custom hand lettered solutions for a range of product formats, art directs internal studio objectives, and counsels and mentors designers company-wide on lettering and design integrity.
